Famous actors you're surprised have struggled for years to get roles.

Some actors are lucky, some aren't so much. Sometimes it's a lack of talent, sometimes it's superficial nonsense like looks. All it takes is one role to completely reinvent their career's trajectory. Still, it's fascinating to read about actors you'd assume would have made it from the beginning, only for them to struggle a lot to the point of homelessness, in some extreme cases. The actors that immediately come to mind are Jeremy Strong (too "ugly"), Pedro Pascal (too "Latino"), and Jon Hamm (too "old looking"), but I'd like to know who else has struggled for roles before becoming the go-to person in the industry?

Obviously, I'm talking about actors from movies, television, theatre, even radio play.
