What non-scary movie terrified you as a kid?

I just watched Harvey with my ten-year-old and they were freaked out and asked if they HAD to watch the ending.

Something about the invisible six foot rabbit who may or no be there was entirely unnerving for them. They also felt nervous about the treatment of various characters by the mental institution. They look visible uncomfortable when Aunt Myrtle was locked up and order to strip based on a misunderstanding.

This is the same kid who sits through soft horror like Little Shop of Horrors and Beetlejuice without batting an eyelid.

What movie scared you as a child that was intended to be scary?
