Good example of movies that upset powerful interests upon release?

I watched Mr. Smith Goes to Washington and was shocked by how terribly it portrayed DC except perhaps in the last minute.

I read that Congress was so pissed off about this that they later passed additional regulations on Hollywood because of the movie. What other movies really pissed powerful people off or caused massive controversy against entrenched interests upon their release?
