Hi reddit! My name is Ivan Moran and I'm the Overall Visual Effects Supervisor for the movie Project Power, Ask...Me....Anything!!!!!

Dear reddit,

This is my first time on AMA and I am extremely excited to talk about all things Project Power (and more), the fantastically fun new Netflix Original movie I was lucky enough to be the Overall VFX Supervisor for. Shout out to the illustrious dynamic directing duo, Henry Joost ＆ Ariel Schulman, for giving me the honour and the inspiration to join them and produce such astounding effects with. And to my incredible visual effects teams (Leslie Hough, Framestore, Image Engine, Distillery VFX, East Side Effects, Outpost VFX, Bunkertron), you rock!

My challenge to you if you haven't seen the film yet or even if you have: "Can you guess what is real and what is not?"

I have been in the visual effects industry for over 25 years originally as a compositor, having worked on many classics including The Matrix franchise and Lord of The Rings back in the day. As an artist, my proudest achievement was compositing the CG baby (woops, spoilers) in Alfonso Cuarón's 2006 masterpiece 'Children of Men'.
