Currently watching "An American Werewolf in London".

Is this maybe the most perfect werewolf movie ever, and one of the greatest films ever made?

Its got a tight story (no fluff), great directing, awesome acting, fantastic music. The full package.

Its got great humor, it is an amazingly funny movie. Its got genuine scares, it really is a tense, scary movie. The characters are all interesting and extremely well acted.

But the wolf. The furocious howl, the extremely aggressive attack style, the massive, barrel-chested, bear-like design, the fact it is only briefly, subtly shown, (until the end, of course). Hands down, the BEST transformation scene ever put to film.
