Whats the most beautifully sad movie youve ever seen?

I just rewatched “Life is Beautiful” today after many years & I honestly forgot how sad the movie was, but by the end, you’re just smiling. Because despite all the hardships the father was going through, he still made life in a concentration camp seem like a game for his son and shielded him from the reality of the horrors of the camp. Just seeing all the extra effort & witty methods he came up with to make life living in a concentration camp seem fun for his son…it’s just a beautifully sad movie. So anyway, that got me to my question: what’s the most “beautifully” sad movie you’ve ever seen? Thank you.
