Anyone else think Matt Damon was fantastic in his limited role in interstellar?

I can't put my finger on it. Somewhat dramatic, but allowed his mental instability to show in somewhat numerous lines

Like "the best odds I've had in years" or him just repeatedly saying "yes" as he walks towards cooper

It was kinda quirky

He's definitely my favorite part of the movie
