What movie is a must watch but it is a hard sell?

I've watched heaps of movies and try not to recommend them to people because they would think i'm depraved and a total weirdo. I like movies with interesting characters and storylines. I have a weird taste in movies i guess. I like anything from ps i love you to martyrs. The people i know don't like gore and think i am messed up. I try to keep that part of me a secret but on the internet i can talk to people with similar tastes and it makes me feel better.
