Anybody else feel that the Star Wars spinoff movies are more about capitalising on elements of the original trilogy than genuinely expanding the universe?

I thought the prospect of spinoff Star Wars movies was exciting but there's a Death Star movie, a Han Solo movie and apparently a Boba Fett movie. All are based on popular elements of the original trilogy. It's funny how Star Wars is supposedly a huge universe yet they're sticking so close to one aspect of it.

I feel like these movies are being made to resell figures of Darth Vader, Han Solo, etc again.

I'd personally love to see an Obi-Wan or an ancient Jedi film. With a Star Wars movie coming every year now, it's more important than ever to reinvent ideas rather than recycle.
