I went into watching Event Horizon thinking I had just discovered a cool action/sci-fi movie.

I don't get easily scared by scary movies, but due to knowing nothing about it and being most scared by scientific/space-related things (as opposed to ghosts/demons/possession), I came out realizing I watched one of the scariest movies i've ever seen.

I've seen much worse in terms of gore/blood, but the context in which the gore was presented was a mind-fuck. Am I the only one who feels this way?
