Movies that feature jet ski action scenes have an average RT rating of 29% and average an inflated domestic box office of $49 million on $82 million budgets.

Transporter 2, Transporter: Refueled, Police Academy 3, Water World, Hard Rain, Deep Rising, Speed 2, Shark Night, Fool's Gold, Double Dragon, Piranha 3D

Jet Ski action scenes are boring. They basically go in a straight line or are totally unwieldy indoors (Hard Rain). Also, when you wipe out there is basically no danger because the characters simply flop on the water (Fool's Gold). I'm not saying that the movies are subpar because of jet skis. I'm just saying jet ski action scenes don't help.

I also looked up movies that feature jet ski riding. The Films Tomb Raider 2, Tammy, Hitch, The Spy Who Loved Me, Jackass 3D and Into the Blue have an average of 46% on RT. That isn't too bad. Maybe just feature some casual jet ski cruising and it will make your movie better.
