Movies that would've ended quickly with modern technology.

Just recently saw a comic in /r/all on how Kevin McCallister would've ended Home Alone quickly with a simple text to his mom could've resolved everything right away. Home Alone 2 could've ended at the terminal had Kevin scanned his boarding pass.

This made me wonder what other movies would have resolved quicker had the characters had some sort of technology? Bonus challenge is to not state the obvious: smart phones changed practically everything.
