What have been your favorite experiences with the audience in a movie theater?

Anything from tears, booing, applause, reactions to twists or jump scares, commentary...

I saw the final Harry Potter movie at a midnight showing and lots of people were dressed up. There's a scene in the movie where the students lift their wands in the air. When this happened in the movie, everyone in the theater who'd brought a wand (a good number) lifted theirs up too. It was a really cool experience.

I love seeing movies in theaters just for the audience interactions. Got any stories of your own?
