The Promise(2017) premiered at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 11, 2016 to standing ovations, but before the first audience even left the theater the Turkish government-sponsored trolls had submitted 4000 negative fraudulent ratings. That number reached tens of thousands before the movie was released.
The movie directed by Terry George will release on april 21. Please don't let these purely political ratings stop you from going to see the movie
