Question: Why do animated movies such as Moana and Despicable Me hire famous actors when its not like children watching the movie cares at all

So I just watched Moana for the first time, and although Dwayne Johnson did a superb performance, I dont think he is the only one who could have done that job. Same goes with Owen Wilson in the Cars series or Steve Carrel in the Despicable Me series. I am not saying that they are bad voice actors but couldnt they have used actual voice actors for the roles? Most of the kids who are watching these movies do not know or care who is behind the character, so why spend that extra money?
