The way this works is that you post a review of the best film you saw last week. It doesn't have to be a new release, just any film you have seen over the last seven days that you feel is worth talking about. Here are some rules.
1. Check to see if your favourite film of last week has been posted already. If so, please reply to that comment instead of making a new thread.
2. Please post your favourite film of last week.
3. NO TV SHOWS!
4. ALWAYS use spoiler tags. Report any comments that spoil recent / little-known films (e.g. Wonder Woman, The Mummy) without using the spoiler tag.
5. Comments that only contain the title of the film will be removed!
Here are some great comments from last week's thread that I totally just made up:
-
Baby Driver an underrated gem by kino connoisseur Edgar Wright, which is a movie that only I saw this week, despite my sold out theater of people wearing shades and earbuds in the theater, which is highly inefficient. This movie has a soundtrack and also cinematography. Hot Fuzz quotes.
-
The Baby that Drives (1963) - Never have I seen such a magnificent underrated gem (which btw I caught an early screening of it AMA), it reminded me of why I love cinema, and I can't wait to tell all my friends to go rob a bank while I rock out to some dadrock in my 2008 Fiat. Did I mention that I watched this movie earlier than all you scrubs? AMA. Edgar Wright is now qualified to do capekino. Hot Fuzz quotes. AMA
-
Conducteur de Bébé (2017) - It was a toss up between this and Baby Driver, but this one takes the cake by literally being Baby Driver, which is an underrated gem by my muse Edgar Wright, who you might know as the Shaun of the Dead guy. Baby Driver was original kino, and I can't believe I was the only person that watched it this week, you all should be ashamed of yourselves. I can't wait till next week so I can also gush over Spiderman Homecoming unlike all of you Transformers-watching peasants. Anyway, I'm off to play XBox with my friend Jamie. We both can 360 noscope scrubs to the tune of Bellbottoms. Hot fuzz quotes.

Have fun and play nice!
