The MCU is a beast. Technically speaking, Avengers: Infinity War is a sequel to ten distinct movie franchises:

• Avengers

• Captain America

• Iron Man

• Thor

• Incredible Hulk

• Ant-Man

• Black Panther (1st film in February 2018)

• Guardians of the Galaxy

• Spider-Man

• Doctor Strange

It's quite an achievement. I grew up with 2 superhero movie franchises (Superman and Batman) so you young'uns have no idea how well you got it these days.
