You know who is greatly unappreciated as an actor? Giovanni Ribisi.

Most actors with Ribisi’s range get constant praise from the media and awards, and yet his diverse characters always seem to fly under the radar. He can play so many different types of people that I’ll probably even forget some of his better performances here:

• Danny, the kind, mentally challenged boyfriend in The Other Sister

• Kip Raines, the drunken gangster brother of Nic Cage in Gone in 60 Seconds

• John, the squirrelly photographer husband of Scarlett Johansson in Lost in Translation

• T-4 Medic Wade, the wounded medic in Saving Private Ryan

• Chad, the original drummer who breaks his arm in That Thing You Do!

• Frank/Condom Boy in Friends

• Parker Selfridge, the smarmy corporate bigwig in Avatar

And 90+ other minor/supporting roles where he shows obvious glimpses of being an underused character actor. Man would I love to see him in a lead role some day.
