Knife Skills is a short documentary that follows the hectic launch of Edwins, a fine dining French restaurant in Cleveland staffed by men and women recently released from prison. It is a film about reentry, second chances, and the healing power of good food. The film was nominated for a 2018 Academy Award for Documentary Short Subject.
