What are some amazing movies that failed due to terrible marking?

I still think it's a damn CRIME that Dredd was ignored October 2012. My brother and I saw it in an empty theater, and absolutely loved it.The issue was Lionsgate and the terrible marketing that they did for Dredd. To this day it's THE best 3D movie I have seen, nothing comes close. The slow-mo, the color palette that they chose for many of the scenes in the movie, and the perfect amount of images coming at you without being cliche in the usage of said 3D trope, it was beautiful. And even watching on the small screen it's a beauty. Just sad that lionsgate failed to market this masterpiece.
