I am James Lester, director of the new feature documentary "Getting Naked: A Burlesque Story." I've seen it all so AMA!

Getting Naked: A Burlesque Story follows the lives of several current-day burlesque performers in New York City. The film goes deep into a range of issues like sexuality, racism, body-positivity, sexism and aging. But at the end of the day, it's a celebration of one of the most mis-represented, hottest, and underground art forms – neo burlesque.

The film premiered at the 74th International Venice Film Festival. Since then it has won and been nominated for Best Documentary at film festivals across the U.S. This summer it will be available in the US and Canada on iTunes, on Amazon for DVD/BD, cable, and streaming services by Gravitas Ventures.
