What are some great space movies that involve an alien/monster/killer?

I've always been fascinated with the sci-fi genre as a whole, but in particular, I love movies that take place in space. And even more in particular, I like when people encounter a different species and have to deal with it.

I've seen all the Alien films (and adore most of them), and Event Horizon is my fucking jam. Looking for some other recommendations for ones I might have missed. Thanks!
