Thoughts from advanced screening of Venom

Extremely generic movie. Tom Hardy's acting is decent but not enough to carry this movie. The CGI was pretty bad, and the final fight is completely shot in the night, with a shaky camera and many many cuts. Honestly hard to see and nothing noteworthy at all.

The movie had one twist which surprised me though (It's not really a twist, this is the only thing that hasn't been shown in the trailers and so I'm referring to it as a twist. 90% of the remaining movie can be deduced from the trailers)

To sum up, very bland and generic. Watch it only if you really love Venom.
