Whoever at Netflix decided to categorize Okja as a comedy has a lot to answer for.

I just finished watching Okja, and while it was a deeply powerful movie, a comedy it was not (other than mean-spirited laughing at people, anyway).

I should have known better than to trust a comedy with Tilda Swinton in it. I love her work, and this would have been no exception, but it really caught me by surprise with how dark the whole thing was. One minute sunshine and happiness, and the next dark and traumatic.
