Given that Christopher Nolan likes to reuse actors in his movies (e.g. Tom Hardy & Marion Cotillard), if Heath Ledger hadn't died, who could he have played in Inception, Interstellar, or Dunkirk?

The other day, I heard someone say that Heath Ledger dying after playing the Joker was perfect for his career because they can't imagine him playing any other role after that amazing performance. But especially given that Christopher Nolan likes to reuse his actors and consistently makes amazing movies, I think it would have been amazing to see Heath Ledger in subsequent Nolan films. Which characters do you think he could have portrayed instead of the actors who ended up in the roles? What non-Nolan films would you have liked to see him in?
