so looking at it, it seems as though Karan Soni, Dopinder from the Deadpool movies, is also starring in Pokémon Detective Pikachu

he's listed in both his imdb page and the film's listings.

obviously IMDB's not the most reliable site but they're in post-production: the cast listing should be pretty accurate by now, right?

anyway I thought I'd point this out just in case it was passed over. you might be like me & words exchanged between Dopinder & Deadpool in a Pokemon movie might be something you never knew you wanted until now.
