The 8 Harry Potter movies were released in a span of 11 years...is this the most successful movie-making accomplishment of all time?

The first 3 HP movies were released within a 4 year period.

The final 3 HP were released within a 3 year period.

These movies were huge, blockbuster productions yet they were able to produce, write, film, edit, score, and release them within such a short period of time...all while maintaining the same quality of grandiosity, storytelling, and magic.

A single movie nowadays often takes years from start to finish. Many movies are in production forever. Many blockbusters start their marketing a year (or sometimes more) in advance. Filming and release dates get delayed constantly.

What the Harry Potter movie series has done will likely never happen again.
