What actor/actress has had the most successful transition from TV to movie?

As above, who has been the most succesful. Not just box office as that would probably be Will Smith but critical acclaim too.

I'm thinking Clint Eastwood, from Rawhide (TV) to acting to award winning director. Not only box office success but also critical acclaim too.

Also Robin Williams, Ron Howard, George Clooney had very successful TV careers but even more success on the big screen.
