Movies that are incredible but hard to watch?

Films like 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Godfather Trilogy are both considered classics generally but both are long enough and meditative enough that they can be hard to sit down and digest, what're some movies that you love but feel are hard to watch for one reason or another.
