Inspired by the thread on movie characters taking pills without water: What are everyday things that movie characters almost always do in a weird way?

Already mentioned: Always slam prescription pills into your mouth and swallow them without water.

What I've got:

• When taking a shower, make sure to lean against the wall dramatically

• If you need to draw blood, instead of pricking yourself harmlessly, make sure you take a knife and cut a slit ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE PALM OF YOUR HAND

• When you come across someone dead with their eyes open, make sure you close both of their eyes at the exact same time by sliding fingers of one of your hands downward over their two eyes. If you don't do this, the deceased will forever haunt you. Or something.

• Never look at your alarm clock when it beeps in the morning. You'll hurt your eyes. Blindly reach for it and fumble around until you get it
