Great movies with terrible messages?

recommend me a movie that hit all the right boxes for you but that hasn't aged so well or that has an outright terrible message, morally speaking.

movies that aren't satire or social critique and obviously not movies where audiences had interpreted what they wanted. let's not count horror films
