Man, James Cameron's planned storyline for a new Terminator trilogy sounded.... amazing, actually.

I actually really, really, really liked Dark Fate just FYI. As an old school T-fan who had totally given up on the franchise after Genisys, it was such a great surprise to see Cameron return to the franchise properly and create a really ballsy new path for the series. I was, and still am, really interested in seeing what the ultimate endgame was for his new vision of Terminator, and this article which I just found describes it a bit. And I'm going to be really damn upset if Dark Fate's bombing means that he never gets to see his story completed.
