With her Oscar nomination for "Marriage Story" Laura Dern is tied with her mother Diane Ladd for number of times nominated with 3 a piece. Neither has won an Oscar yet.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet so I thought I'd share. Another area of note is that 2 of Diane Ladd's nominations came from movies she stared with her daughter.
