Best Movie For Tension?

My vote is Joyride (2001) - titled Roadkill here in Australia. Just watched it again tonight and it holds up incredibly well. Incredibly well.

Paul Walker, Steve Zahn and Leelee Sobieski are cast (perfectly, in Zahn’s case) in this timeless and absolute masterpiece of tension. Building and edging and lulling. It’s white knuckle. Duel (or even dare I say it, JAWS) for the modern age - can’t believe that it’s 20 years old.

Combine JAWS with The Hitcher, and a little bit Maximum Overdrive with some surprisingly good writing and you have but an idea of what you - and anyone who watched ‘this Paul Walker film called Joyride’ in 2001 on the back of The Fast and The Furious - are in for.
