Pacific Rim Feels So Good.

I watched Pacific Rim on the weekend. I don't know what it is but the Jaeger/ kaiju are just so satisfying. It just looks so good and the enormous creations all feel like they have a lot of weight swinging around. Instead of everything just feeling light like a lot of CGI creations these ones have the weight. You can actually see the building windows shaking with just the steps and air currents the Jaeger was making as he would walk through tow.

The movie seems so light on story but Guillermo knows how to just make everything feel so good together and a lot of his shots are well thought out and has layers of emotion symbolized in so many shots.

I haven't sullied this movie's greatness by watching Uprising, at least not yet but I might crack at some point soon and watch it.
