Rewatched Arrival and it's one of the best demonstrations of actual science in sci-fi

It's amazing how well this movie holds up. Will be a classic for the ages. What I love most about it is the actual use of real research knowledge and theory applied in such an elegant way. The fact that the language itself is a real constructed language with an actual program to analyze and generate it is astounding.

I wish more sci-fi did away with the element of (essentially) magic, and focused more on actual science because the science itself is magical enough. Can't wait to see Denis Villeneuve's take on Dune! Just finished reading it and there's a shit ton of magic in that one lol!

Also, think I found Elon and Grime's second child name ;)
