Which alternate universe version of a movie would you most want to see?

Okay so everyone knows that Eric Stoltz was almost Marty McFly or that Sylvester Stallone was once considered for Die Hard right? Hollywood has thousands of these almost movies that would have so fundamentally changed a classic film substantially, maybe in some alternate universe they were made?

So if you got a magic device that let you collect only these alternate universe films what would be the one film you would be most interested in seeing?

For me it would Del Toro's Hobbit films. Jackson ruined those movies and I'd be interested to see another Director's take on them. I didn't particularly care for Del Toro's output at that period of time, but I think he would have at least infused the films with interesting visual flair.
