“We didn’t ask for this” is a shitty excuse to dismiss a movie you have no interest in.

This is gonna be a small and unnecessary rant.

But I see it every-where on this sub and it kinda drives me crazy how thick minded you have to be to say it whenever a movie exists.

Guess what. Nobody fucking asked for 90% of the shit you enjoy. So stop saying “We didn’t ask for this.” because Hollywood isn’t the fucking north pole where you get to write to them and tell them what you want to see get made.

I sure as shit don’t remember anyone asking Christopher Nolan to make a time-travelling-whatever-the-fuck-it-is movie, but hey, nobody asked for it and we’re all happy it exists.

Nobody asked for Ghostbusters to be rebooted with a female cast, nobody even asked for a third Thor movie and it’s one of the best.

Get what I mean? If you really have no interest in a movie, say something that makes sense, please.
