Joaquin Phoenix was perfect for the movie Walk the Line

In the movie Walk the Line, one of the main focuses is Johnny Cash's guilt over the death of his older brother Jack. You can see how much pain Cash is in thanks to the performance by Joaquin Phoenix. In my belief, the real life death of Phoenix's own older brother River is what helped him achieve the realism of Cash's grief and destructive lifestyle.
