Would you consider District 9 a "classic?"

It's been over 11 years since the film was released to much critical acclaim and a strong box office run, launching the career of Neil Blomkamp and influencing several properties immediately. I can't help but feel that Titanfall borrowed a lot of it's aesthetic from this film, especially with the catching of bullets and reflecting them back in the mech-suit.

Anyways, I saw it for the first time today, and it was pretty good. The filming style was fascinating, if kind of inconsistent, the action was solid, and of course it's premise is one of the most original and compelling in recent sci fi movies. But is it a "classic?" As in, a film that will be beloved in 10,20, 30 years? Hard to say.
