Would anyone else have loved to see James Cameron's version of Jurassic Park?

Some of you may or may not know that James Cameron tried to buy the rights to Jurassic Park but Speilberg beat him out. Cameron said later that he was glad Speilberg made it because he made it about childhood wonder and Cameron's version was going to be much darker, gritter, and nastier. As much as I love the Speilberg version, and it truly is a classic, I can't help but think that a James Cameron directed Jurassic Park would have been totally insane. I mean Aliens but with dinosaurs would have been totally nuts and I can't help but wonder what that movie experience would have been like.
