I have no idea why The Nice Guys (2016) doesn't have a sequel, it is a dynamite film

I mean I do generally know why; it didn't make a lot of money at the box office. But honestly, I've seen that movie umpteen times and it never ever fails to make me roll over laughing. The action is great, the writing is hilarious, and the chemistry between Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling is unbeatable. The fact that it's so good but the fans of it are so quite is stunting my hopes for a sequel, but I always live in hope...
