Just finished watching Prisoners by Denis Villeneuve

Holy shit! This movie was something else. Everything in it just clicked together to form this cohesive masterclass in filmmaking. Front he atmosphere, to the cinematography and the acting was all phenomenal.

Hugh Jackman stole the show, I'm surprised this movie only.got an academy award nomination for the screenplay. Jake Gyllenhaal was great as always, and seeing Paul Dano act the hell out of his role made me eager to see him as The Riddler in Matt Reeves' The Batman.

Villeneuve knew how to keep you at the edge of your seat during every scene, you have no idea where the plot was gonna go next. I don't think I've had a movie make me feel that way since Se7en.

I loved the open ended ending, it cut to black just at the right moment.

One of the best Crime Thrillers out there, anyone who's a fan of the genre who still hasn't watched this masterpiece should definitely check it out!
