I'm re-watching 'Austin Powers - Goldmember' and somehow I forgot how great this movie is!

The movie opens with a pretty legit action sequence with cameos by Tom Cruise, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey, Danny DeVito.

Then it immediately transitions into a very legit ensemble dance sequence with Britney Spears as a fembot.

I had completely forgotten about all of that.

That's before the main plot even begins, and before Beyonce, Michael Caine, Rob Lowe, Heather Graham and John Travolta show up.

Basically every scene is hilarious and Mike Meyers does such an amazing job you forget he's playing like three of the main characters; characters so good pretty much everyone will remember their catch phrases from the early 2000s.

Definitely worth watching if you're looking for a lighthearted distraction - and who isn't right now?
