Tom Cruise is so good at playing the villain in Collateral (2004)

He's just so good in this film. He's suave and cool but so unsettling.. it's his eyes, he's able to convey the intensity of a killer. I think Tom Cruise just naturally fits the role of a villain very well. He is believable and his powerful screen presence enhances the believability of him as a credible threat. In many other films, you always think that the protagonist will find some sort of way to beat the hitman, but not in this one.

I hope that after MI he gravitated to villain roles.
