Do you enjoy watching movies with other people after recommending it to them?

I hate that, for the most part. It sometimes feels like I'm responsible for the movie, like a director at a premiere I guess. I remember watching Anchorman with three different people at three different times, two of them thought it was a stupid waste of time (now that I think about it, I haven't talked to them for years. Hm.). Couldn't enjoy it myself back then. Oh, and I hate catching myself glancing at the reaction to scenes that I like, or the other person starting to talk about stuff right when something important/funny/awesome will happen.

Just thought about that after reading this comment chain (especially /u/mariners2o6's comment): https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/lqla3l/the_infamous_bomb_southland_tales_is_enjoying_a/gohq0lr/
