Thunder Force (2021) Avoid at all costs.

I know it's possible for Melissa McCarthy to be funny, her film Spy was surprisingly good, but in this movie, it is clear that she has discovered the Anti-Humor Equation as she seems to be going out of her way to deliver jokes that are dead on arrival. It's not just the fact that Thunder Force is one of the worst comedies I've seen in quite some time but it also fails at being a competent superhero movie as well, seriously, this makes any problems with the DC Extended Universe pale in comparison, and then there is the small issue of the screenwriters not being able to layout a proper narrative - characters do and say things that make no plot sense whatsoever - and when the movie ends you can only pray that they will never attempt something like this ever again.

Overall, this film is the comic equivalent of genital warts, see your doctor before applying this to your Netflix watch list.

PS: They somehow made Jason Bateman unfunny and I didn't think that was possible.
