“A Wrinkle in Time” looks and sounds like a talented group of Hollywood people tried to make a $100M film on a $10K budget in 24hrs as a fun challenge.

This film looks and sounds like bare bones. There is little immersion by way of set design, the dialogue is in dire need of “weathering,” and the costumes looked like they were pulled from a college runway.

The makeup is the only exception. It doesn’t look like it was applied by anyone with any talent at all. The makeup looks like the initial makeup artist called in sick and someone had to call their cousin who’s a “makeup guru” on YouTube with 1400 subscribers.
