The tomorrow war (Amazon)

Wow. Disappointed is a complete understatement for this movie. I cannot believe how many plot holes there are and not to mention the unbelievable stupidity and luck of the protagonist. I just really want to know your thoughts on "The Tomorrow War". I mean why in the absolute hell would you send people (civilians who have zero experience) into the future to fight their doomed war?? Why not just prep for the upcoming battle? The ending was just ridiculously stupid. I can't even.
