Just finished watching the masterpiece that is Nightcrawler. How does people not see it's a depiction of a psychopath and a world that rewards him for it? A truly chilling horror movie.

Was reading reviews after watching this and they're like "we find ourselves rooting for the villain" like at what point did you not realize this main character is cold and emotionless and has no remorse for his actions? This is clear from the opening scene where he beats up a security guard when he gets caught stealing bits of fence.

Gyllenhaals performance is brilliant. Truly chilling glimpse to the life of a psychopath.
